July 20, 2002 -- At the National Train Show in Ft. Lauderdale, FL today, Lonestar Models unveiled their latest planned offering to the 1/87 scale (HO scale) world of model railroading and vehicle collecting. Slated to be offered only as a painted and fully assembled model in carrier authorized paint schemes, this model carries the Lonestar Models concept of mixed media models to an even higher level. The model will feature a brass superstructure with photo-etched stainless steel ramps.

The model will be offered in strictly limited production runs and aimed primarily at high end vehicle collectors. Packaging will be in a hardshell box with foam inserts.
